My moment of truth was when I hit 303 pounds. I knew right then I had to do something or I wasn’t going to be around to see my girls grow up. Now I get to have fun and my kids love it. The greatest feeling I ever had was when my kids could come up to me and put their arms completely around me for the first time. A year ago we had a class reunion and nobody knew who I was. That was cool. I had this one girl say “Duane, you look hot.” And I said, why didn’t you think that 30 years ago?
